Olympic Club Ambassador Program

The purpose of the Olympic Club Ambassador Program is to encourage members to visit other clubs in District 30, as well as other Districts around the world. This will allow members to give presentations in an environment they are not as comfortable in as well as for them to learn best practices they can share with their own clubs.

Members will earn points for each visit to a Club and/or District event. Points will be accumulated as follows:

Meetings or events within District 30

  • 1 Point for joining a new club in District 30
  • 1 point for visiting a club in District 30, .5 points for each additional visit (up to 3 visits per club)
  • 1 Point for attending a District event
  • 1 point for taking on a role in a club meeting

Meetings or events outside District 30

  • .5 point for joining a new club outside of District 30
  • .5 point for visiting a club outside of District 30 (up to 3 visits per club)
  • 1 point for attending a District event outside of District 30
  • 1 point for taking on a role in a club meeting

Members will earn a tier based on the number of points accumulated during the year. The tiers are as follows:

  • Grandmaster= member who has the most points
  • 20 Visits = Gold
  • 15 Visits = Silver
  • 10 Visits = Bronze

Everyone who earns at least a bronze tier will get a certificate and one prize will be raffled among the members in each tier. The Grandmaster will earn a prize and trophy as they had the most visits. Members will put their home club when submitting a visit. The clubs who earn the most points will earn the Diamond and Platinum awards. This is to also encourage all members of a club to visit and enjoy other clubs’ meetings.

District 30 DEC team can participate as well to lead by example. They earn the ranking, but cannot be entered into the drawings, but there will be an assistant Grandmaster who will earn a trophy.
