Incentives

General Information

The Toastmasters District Mission is to “build new clubs and help all clubs achieve excellence”. This includes adding new members to existing clubs, helping members achieve education awards and fulfilling the objectives of each Club’s Success Plan to become Distinguished (or better).

To help members, club officers and clubs, District 30 is proud to share the following incentives to motivate everyone in becoming Distinguished. They are listed chronologically below to help you identify when an incentive is active and in which order they will be offered.

Incentives:

Membership Renewals Incentive (Ends October 1st, 2018)

The First 15 clubs to submit 12 or more membership payments for October renewals will receive a Presentation Slide Advancer                                           The First 2 clubs to submit 20 or more membership payments for October renewals will receive a Projector                                                                      Any club that submits 8 or more membership payments for the entire year (Oct & April) will receive either a Banner or Banner Stand                                **** Only one achievement prize eligible per club ****  

Super 7 Award – Round 1 (June 1st, 2018 – August 31st, 2018)

Clubs that have all 7 officers trained will earn a Super 7 ribbon for the club banner.

Club President’s Challenge (July 1st, 2018 – October 15, 2018)

Club President’s commit to leading your club to President’s Distinguished by June 1st, 2019 and you will receive a Ribbon For your Banner, Actually Achieve President’s Distinguished Status by June 1st, 2019 and receive a Pathways Wall Chart for your club.  Send Club Success Plans AND written commitment to Tiffany Howard (District Director) HERE. By October 15th.

5 Star Award (July 1st, 2018 – December 31st, 2018)

Achieve any five (5) DCP goals and receive a 5 Star ribbon for your banner. To qualify, clubs must have enough members to qualify for Distinguished status (20 members or +5 members over your July 1st base). Clubs who achieve the 5 Star Award will be entered into a drawing where one (1) club will be randomly selected to receive a $50 gift certificate to spend at the District 30 store.

Smedley Award D30 Incentive (August 1st, 2018 – September 30th, 2018)

Win the TI Smedley Award Contest by adding at least 5 new, dual or reinstated members to your club between August 1st and September 30th to win a Guest Book and Chat Pack from the District for your club.

Pathways Educational Incentives:

  • Clubs with 75% or more of their members enrolled in Pathways by June 1st 2019 will receive a “Leading teh Path” ribbon for their club banner and be recognized at the Hall of Fame event at the Summer TLI on June 15th 2019.
  • All Members having completed and Pathways level (between July 1st 2018 and June 1st 2019) will receive a level completion ribbon and be entered into a drawing where 2 lucky members will receive a $50 gift certificate to use at the D30 District store.  The winners will be awarded at the Summer TLI.
  • Any Club where at least 50% of the club’s base completes Pathways level 1 or higher by June 1st 2019 the club will then receive a $25 gift certificate to use at the D30 District store.

Re-energized Distinguished Award:

Any Club receiving Distinguished Status or better by June 1st 2019 for the FIRST time in the last 5 years will receive a $100 certificate to the D30 District Store.   To Qualify clubs must have:

  • Not achieved a Distinguished or better status within the 5 years prior.  May not have achieved during these Toastmasters years:
    • 2013-2014
    • 2014-2015
    • 2015-2016
    • 2016-2017
    • 2017 – 2018

*New Clubs Chartered within the last 5 years do qualify to achieve this incentive, as long as this is the first year they are achieving a Distinguished status.
